1. IDEA
INTEGRATED     NATURAL

Located in an idyllic forest setting, in the southern Alentejo region, this small studio has big aims for a workspace with storage and a sleeping loft. The forest setting will make the space feel like a treehouse. Being up above the tree canopy is a unique experience we wanted to explore!





2. PROCESS
SUSTAINABLE    ADAPTIVE REUSE

Using an existing storage and water tank as the foundation we enclosed both under a new roof to create a small, yet beautiful space that feels like a tree house!





3. SOLUTION
SIMPLE     POETIC

The studio faces the forest and sunset, creating an opportunity to capture beautiful warm light making the small space seem grand! An outdoor extension amplifies the space connecting it with the nature and serenity surrounding it.
